At least one household member must be 62 years of age or older, or an adult with a qualifying disability. All household members must have eligible citizenship or eligible immigration status as required by HUD. Applicants must meet all HUD program requirements, including income eligibility, background screening, and other applicable program guidelines. Rent Rent is income-based and is generally 30% of the household's adjusted gross income, as determined by HUD regulations. Household income and eligibility are reviewed annually during the required recertification process, and rent may be adjusted based on any changes in household income or composition.
