Waiting List

Important Information

Submitting an application or being placed on a waiting list does not guarantee that you will be offered an apartment.

Apartments are generally offered on a first-come, first-served basis as they become available. Some properties, such as our Farm Worker's Program, have additional USDA eligibility requirements and income guidelines that determine applicant eligibility.

When your name reaches the top of the waiting list, you must still qualify for the apartment at that time. Eligibility may be affected by:

• Household income (including meeting minimum and maximum income limits, if applicable)
• Criminal background screening
• Credit screening
• Landlord references and rental history
• Verification of all program eligibility requirements

If an applicant no longer meets the property's eligibility requirements when an apartment becomes available, the apartment may be offered to the next qualified applicant on the waiting list.

1 Bedroom Units

Due to the high volume of applications received, both of our one-bedroom waiting lists are currently closed.

The following waiting lists have been closed since August 2025:

• HUD One-Bedroom Apartments (for seniors and individuals with disabilities)
• Rainier Development One-Bedroom Apartments

We are not accepting new applications for either waiting list at this time.

Please check this website periodically for updates regarding the reopening of our waiting lists. Thank you for your understanding.

2 Bedroom Units

We are currently accepting applications for the following two-bedroom waiting lists:

• Farm Worker's Two-Bedroom Apartments
• Mabton Foot Hills Two-Bedroom Apartments – These apartments are not low income and have a flat rate of $810.

Due to the high volume of applications received, the following waiting lists have been closed since August 2025:

• Rainier Development Two-Bedroom Apartments

We are not accepting new applications for either waiting list at this time.

3 Bedroom Units

We are currently accepting applications for the following three-bedroom waiting lists:

• Farm Worker's Three-Bedroom Apartments 
• Mabton Foot Hills Three-Bedroom Apartments – These apartments are not low income and have a flat rate of $923.

Due to the high volume of applications received, the following waiting lists have been closed since August 2025:

• Mabton Single Family Homes Three-Bedroom Apartments (for seniors and individuals with disabilities)
• Public Housing Three-Bedroom Apartments

We are not accepting new applications for either waiting list at this time.

• Public Housing Four-Bedroom Apartments
• Mabton Foot Hills Four-Bedroom Apartments – These apartments are not low income and has a flat rate of $1,007.
